I learned this song today so I “GarageBanded” it real quick! It’s “Two Headed Boy part 2” by Neutral Milk Hotel on their “In the Aeroplane Over the Sea” album, which is literally my favorite record of all time (Yes, even more than “”Ok Computer” by Radiohead or any Beatles album, though I know that is extremely blasphemous, Sir Paul McCartney please forgive me!). The record inspires me endlessly and this is my second favorite song on the album (after the title track). I’ve been listening to this record since I was about 17 and I don’t think it will ever stop inspiring me.

Forgive the janky’ness of the whole sound of it. I took the guitar in one pass so it’s awkward, and you can hear the cars driving by my house in the vocal track. Ohwell. These things are meant to be as they are.

Off to drive 2 hours to pick up my husband from the Dallas airport…He’s currently in an Aeroplane over the Sea….literally :)
